I contacted Marathon Movers already on a job, last minute on a rainy Saturday in need of a same day pick up, delivery and removal of three large desks to and from a tight second floor space and Milton and his right hand man came through in a pinch at a reasonable price.The entire transaction was flawless. The individual on the other end of the transaction who had never used the business messaged me prior to his arrival, "Milton is wonderful."HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Marathon Moving Services is the best choice for a moving company! My husband and I were more than satisfied with their services from start to finish! Milton and our moving team Marquese, Von, and Dro moved us out of our two bedroom, two bathroom, and patio into our new home in 3 hours total. In 100 degree weather they were still top notch! We couldn’t ask for better! We love the fact that they contacted us when they were on the way and kept us informed of their arrival time! They followed through with the quote we were given. The moving team left no scratches on our walls in new or old place! There were no broken items! No smoke breaks and playing around. They understood the assignment!!! They had a neatly packed truck, positive attitudes, and were very mannerable! Book Marathon Moving Services for a stress free move!! We will definitely use their services again!!

If I could give Robert and partner 6 stars I would! These 2 men were polite and sympathetic to our needs. They were fast and efficient, kept everything cleaned up and organized. On June 18, 2022 I had the absolute pleasure of working with Marathon Moving services to move my large furniture items out of my old residency and into a new one. The whole process from start to finish was super fast and easy. Not only were my items delivered undamaged, there was absolutely no damage to any walls, entrance ways or door ways of either house. I had a wonderful team of three gentlemen, who were absolute gentlemen in every sense of the word, that loaded and unloaded all of my items from the truck that marathon movers provided. The price quoted and agreed upon was fantastic when compared to other companied in the area, they moved me approximately 100 miles for under $3,000 when others wanted almost $5,000 and with these gas prices that is a steal! Using this service has been so seamless that it almost makes me want to move again just to have such a low stress and pleasant transition.If you need to move and don't have anymore friends who will help in exchange for pizza or maybe you don't want to hear them constantly complain or bring it up every time they come over for years to come then you need Marathon Moving 10/10 would recommend to any and everyone looking to move!! Thank you guys for everything!!!

Very professional, awesome company, from the time I book a date until the last item they moved. No stress at all. They made it look so easy.All other moving company i have used in the pass move slow, to drain more money. Not this company, they moved my things in a flash. Milton and his crew did a GREAT job moving us! 3 bedroom house, 2 storage sheds and storage unit in less than a day! And right at the quote. Couldn't be happier. We knew it wouldn't be easy and we'll be unpacking for a LONG time but I would highly recommend Marathon Movers to anyone!

Absolutely blown away by the ease of our moving due to how quickly and professional marathon was. Literally moved an entire storage unit and full two bedroom apartment with an hour commute to the our new house in five hours total. Would 1000% recommend to anyone needing to move in the future. Came in under the original quote and was worth every penny.

Milton is very professional and organized. The guys were on time, friendly, worked hard and proficiently.I was pretty scatter brained, stressed, and exhausted but the crews were patient with me and really worked hard to get it right.Utilize this company and you wont regret it.

Very professional and extremely connected with what you're going through with your move. Not an easy thing to earn a name like marathon moving but these guys really killed it. We've moved a lot and this was by far the best moving experience we’ve had! Milton and his team were on time and saved us a considerable amount off the packing and moving estimate, because they got it done so efficiently and quickly. We coordinated all this long distance. Milton and Marathon’s office manager, Whitney, were both very professional and fantastic. Super responsive when we had questions. Couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be using Marathon again. Highly recommend!

Marathon Moving Services was my hero. I had significant damage in my house and had to move furniture and house pieces (cabinets and HEAVY granite) ASAP. They returned my call promptly and came out to my house in less than 24 hours. They wrapped/protected my furniture and fit every piece in a tiny 5x10 storage unit. They were professional, efficient, QUICK and incredibly personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I moved locally with Marathon just yesterday and these guys did a tremendous job.From the professional quoting process during my initial call to the actual move they did everything they said they would plus more. All the guys were polite and hard working, they had extra room in one of the trucks so they even moved my kids playground which was not initially quoted. The final bill ended up being less than quoted even after I tipped the guys for their hard work.Professional, hard-working, and quality priced... Highly Recommended!

I have nothing but the highest praise for Milton and his team at Marathon Moving Services. I moved from Virginia Beach to Richmond, and I got several quotes before going with Marathon as well as checking reviews on Yelp. Both the quoted price and their Yelp reviews convinced me to go with them, and I am so happy I did. They're not the cheapest but also not the most expensive, and I can tell you they were worth the money.They showed up at 6:45 am, and efficiently and quickly packed my belongings. I lived in a one-bedroom apartment, so I didn't have as much as some people, but it was still quite a bit. They loaded the truck, drove to Richmond, assembled my furniture, got the boxes into the right rooms, and were finished in 8 hours total. I was amazed. I have finished unpacking, and not a single broken item.I'm a military veteran and moved a lot during my time in the service. This was one of the best moves I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Milton and his team.

We needed help unloading a very full 20' U-Haul truck when my 2 daughters moved to Virginia Beach to go to college. The apartment was a one floor walk-up, but Gary and Dominik from supersonic movers were outstanding. They had the truck unloaded in 2 hours with no damage to any possessions or any walls. The best part was their excellent attitudes and willingness to accommodate our requests. We will request them for any additional work we might need in the Virginia Beach area.
