Curtis, Kenny, Jay and James were absolutely amazing. I had one day to move from Virginia Beach (3 bedroom House ) to an apartment in Newport news. down sizing. then to storage in under 6 hours and they packed up my house!!!

This is my 3rd time using Marathon Moving Services and it won’t be my last. The team was incredibly professional, on time and ready to work. They worked quickly and efficiently while also handling all of my belongings with great care. The owner, Milton, has always been very friendly and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this moving company.

I had a great experience employing Marathon Moving Services for the move of a 1-bedroom apartment from Chesapeake to Virginia Beach. I spoke with Milton on the phone and he explained the process in detail. The movers, Willis & Vaughn, were on time, pleasant and capable. They covered or boxed anything that needed to be and we were on our way to the destination of the items. They unloading with efficiency and assembled anything that needed assembling. I would recommend Marathon Moving Services and I would use them again in the future if needed.

I recently moved from one apartment to another in Virginia Beach. I'm relatively new to Virginia, so I looked up moving companies in the area. I found that Marathon Movers was available and provided a very fair price. Milton (the owner) and Marquis arrived right on schedule and simply took over. They took special care of my belongings and the pickup and delivery was completed quickly and seamlessly. They helped me out by putting together a couple of heavy furniture items, and put everything exactly where I needed it. I couldn't have asked for a more smooth and seamless transition. I have nothing but the highest praise for Milton and his team at Marathon Moving Services. I moved from Virginia Beach to Richmond, and I got several quotes before going with Marathon as well as checking reviews on Yelp. Both the quoted price and their Yelp reviews convinced me to go with them, and I am so happy I did. They're not the cheapest but also not the most expensive, and I can tell you they were worth the money. They showed up at 6:45 am, and efficiently and quickly packed my belongings. I lived in a one-bedroom apartment, so I didn't have as much as some people, but it was still quite a bit. They loaded the truck, drove to Richmond, assembled my furniture, got the boxes into the right rooms, and were finished in 8 hours total. I was amazed. I have finished unpacking, and not a single broken item. I'm a military veteran and moved a lot during my time in the service. This was one of the best moves I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Milton and his team.

We needed help unloading a very full 20' U-Haul truck when my 2 daughters moved to Virginia Beach to go to college. The apartment was a one floor walk-up, but Gary and Dominik from supersonic movers were outstanding. They had the truck unloaded in 2 hours with no damage to any possessions or any walls. The best part was their excellent attitudes and willingness to accommodate our requests. We will request them for any additional work we might need in the Virginia Beach area.
